when i lock the door with the remote and someone sitting inside the car opens the door, the alarm doesn't go off anymore. but, when i press the panic button the alarm goes off.

Is this a fuse problem? Or, is it something bigger? If it's a fuse problem which fuse is it?

Did you give the alarm time to completely arm itself? The LED will flash when it's completely armed. It takes about a minute.

Then try to open the door.

 

Oh i didnt' realize that. I thought it armed immediately. I'll try that again.
