I'm gettin CEL 0505 "No Failure Recorded/Detected"??
 

I am getting code 0505 which means "No Failure Recorded/Detected". If there is no failure why the light is on?

OT: When is the search function going to be enabled again?

run the test couple times. and count it over and over. you might miss count something?

I am positve that is 0505. I also followed the instructions to get the trouble codes from the sticky :confused:

Ok disconnect your battery and waite 5 min then reconnect it back. and start the car. see if the light comes on. if it does run the test over again.

Well...I did what u said and the CEL went away. I checked for codes anyways and still got 0505. Weird....at least the light is off now. :)

I think normally you should get code like that from the ECU. i could be wrong. hopefully more expert could answer this question.
