The Y-pipe will cause very little change in sound, it's the intake and muffler that make the big difference.

Mine is very deep, i have intake and cat back also, cruzen around town, and chillen at idl its very deep, almost has an old muscle car sound to it, when racing, and in high rpms, it scream, and from out side the car it hiss's almost sounds turbo charged or superC, the only problem with it is im not sure if that's with all budget Y pipes or if i have an exhuast leak:(

Hey I recognize you from over the on the SoundDomain board. All the feedback you need is on motorvate.ca on the Ypipe dyno! Liking the EVO-R still?

You know what worries me though? Looking at www.motorvate.ca , you lose hp at 3,200 rpms. I have an auto :( so I'm assuming I'll be losing more HP than a 5spd would. Oh well, someone make me feel better by saying something positive about the Autos!!:bawling:

hehe

Spook

If you are WOT you will only be below 3500 RPM for a fraction of a second for a 1/4 mile run so its neglible. It will only be below 3500 in 1st gear, how long does it take you to hit 3500 rpm in 1st?
