Hankook's Ventus HRII H405 Tire. Good or bad?

For all you 16" rim riders. Pep Boys is carrying an H rated High Performance Tire in our 215/55/16 size. The tire is manufactured by Hankook and is called the Ventus HRII H405 and has an "A" traction rating with a 340 UTOG treadwear rating. It sells for $85/tire. The tread is similar to the Pirelli Veloce design. Has anybody been brave enough to try these? Anyone have any experience with these or comments about them?

For just a few dollars more you can get somehting proven like a Dunlop SP Sprt A2 or a Sumitomo HTR+. You may have found a bargain, but if it is a bust, that is an expensive mistake.

Ask them about the return policy if they absolutely suk...

i had these tires for a year now and LOVE them... im running 225/40/18 and havent had any complaints. They are H rated but still stick to the road and have a great treadwear rating. They are great in the rain too. I will buy these again when I need to tires.
