More info on cutting bumpstops
I don't know if any of you read the instruction sheet that comes with Eibach springs, but I finally did.
Eibach specifies that 20mm (a little more than 3/4 of an inch) should be cut off the front bumpstops for the 4th gen cars. I think one could apply this recommendation to all other spring brands as they all drop nearly the same amount. (There's no use worrying about .25 inches either way)
They do not specify any cut from the rears. I think the rears should be cut at least a little (if you don't have motivational-type rear mounts)
Yes? No? I should get back to work?

When I read my H&R instructions, the Maxima was not on the list of cars that needed the bumpstops cut. There were other cars listed along with the amount that needed to be taken off the bumpstops. Have any of you initially not cut them and then went back and trimmed them, and if you did was there a big difference in how the car felt? If there was I might go ahead and tackle this a little later.

You can hear the car bottom out. So I cut most of it off, and it didn't bottom out as much.
