INJEN is the only CAI that doesn't require drilling, right?

i'm just curious to know if there are other brands out there... i'm just a little nervous about drilling a hole and having to worry about rusting... but i've read that the injen sucks in warmer air than the other CAI do

injen no drilling- it sits there next to the hot radiator and hot exhaust manifold

When I installed my injen i was suprised that the filter sits as low as it does. Its beneath the radiator fans, so i think it pulls colder than what most people assume about it. As for any other CAI's, I think its only the injen and place racing style. budget sells an injen style cai and i think its priced about the same as their ypipe.

hmm so injen and place racing sell CAI's that do not require drilling??

Damnit i dunno what to do... i could pay more and get the intake w/ less installation hassle, but the term "drilling" is making me edgy haha

Well, i'm sure a heatshield or something can be constructed for the Injen or Place Racing...

I have the HAI (w/ frankencar) right now, and the low-end power really sucks.

place racing has to cut a hole, warpspeed has to cut a hole, injen doesnt

Did you keep the lower portion of the stock intake box to duct cold air to your intake? I've tried it with and without...It's better with.

I'd stick with the Frankencar setup if I were you. I had the Injen intake before and the top end really sucked azz; the needle would crawl 90+. I really don't think the Frankencar is that bad in the low end.
