90K miles. Tranny Rebuild?
Im upset but looks like im gonna have to take it up the a$$ on this one.
For the guys that have had their Transmissions rebuilt: What are you paying? This shop is doing it for $1200 but they are also installing a clutch free of charge (EXEDY that i bought) and the rear main seal too. Is this a legit deal? I know that nissan would charge $1800+ no doubt. I just ALWAYS feel like im getting taken when i get my car worked on. Sorry if this is a repeat post, but i cant SEARCH and I could use this insight ASAP. |

I just got my whole tranny rebuilt. Replaced all internals, torque converter replaced, valve body modified for quicker shifts and hayden tranny cooler installed. All with a 2 yr/ 24,000 mile warrenty for the neck-breaking price of 2850.00. I must say my max feels better than ever on my butt-dyno. :)

It'll be cheaper to buy a used tranny and have it installed. |

But as others have stated you might be better off getting a used tranny with low miles... -RMB |
