anyone know how to pop out drivers/passenger's a/c vent?

I am painting my dash silver, and I am having a bit of trouble popping out the a/c vents near the door. I almost cracked it trying to pull it out. Did anyone have any success with this?

dood look at my dash i painted silver with duplicolor wheel paint the answer is there :confused:
