What's p with the JET chip?

I saw on custommaxima.com that they are selling a JET chip for our cars. Its only lke $350 ( if I remember ) and they ship it the next day! It sounds pretty good, I was wondering if you guys ever heard of it. They also sell a control module for it.

Haven't done too much research, but I've never heard of one person who was actually able to get anything out of this chip on their maxima, go with JWT, or g-force if you don't need a rev limiter increase.

no one wants to take the risk and try it.

it would be funny if it did work.

best way to test is to take a stock max and dyno it and then get the jet up-grade and dyno it again.

I'm getting really tired of these threads we need to make a sticky about them. There's been 4 threads about this chip in the last 3 days. I say the same damn thing on every thread so you can either read this or search for the other threads I've said this in in the last 3 days. BTW this is not directed at you personally I just get tired of saying the same thing over and over.

I'VE HAD THE JET CHIP IN MY CAR. I OWNED IT. IT SUCKED. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. DON'T BELIEVE THIS CRAP YOU READ ABOUT "CUSTOMIZED FOR YOUR MODS, 15HP ETC" ITS ALL BS. GET A JWT OR G FORCE AND DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE JET CHIP.

There I said it again. Can someone make it a sticky? :D

He might be talking about the little programmer thingy. You know how superchips has them for trucks and stuff, the OBD2 programmers. One of them might be this...

No he's talking about the ECU. The control module he mentions at the very end of his post is the programmer you are referring to.
