Engine shaking at all rpm's/gears egr issue?
 

95 se stick 96000 miles new spark plugs/oil

My car started to shake at all rpms, acceleration is shot, and the engine sounds terrible both in neutral and all gears. I have had an Exaust Gas Recirculation CEL for a long time now, and dont belive this could cause such a big problem. Oil is fine.... but a month ago the oil light came on and way less than 4 quarts came out when i changed it. I have been checking it religously since.

The only thing I can think off is too fix the EGR and switch out the old fuel filter, but I dont think either of these things is the underlying problem

I have searched the forum and have not fournd similar problems

I also have a Haynes Repair Manual so I just need to find the sypmtom.
