Factory Security System
I have a 95 SE and when I shut the car off and shut the doors the security system light flashes immediately. It never stays solid like it is supposed too. It just starts flashing and then the alarm will never get set off. I know the factory alarm is a piece and I will probably get a aftermarket, but for the mean time I would like to get it working. Has anybody dealt with this? Thanks.

my best guess is that if your doors are shut and that light is still flashing, your hood or trunk may not be shut properly since those are also connected to the alarm, you may want to doublecheck those and everything else before you invest in a new alarm
