Has anyone heard of Jiffy Lube not being able to use brought in ATF. I don't want to put in their stuff and also I already picked up Redline D4. Could I drain more fluid out if I started car after draining and left on for 1-2 minutes maximum, then filler up?

don't run your car with low trans fluid. Because the convertor will suck up fluid when it is run .If you let it sit for a long while the convertor will drain back a little. Only true way to remove all the fluid is to dissasemble. Don't fall for the complete flush scam because atranny is a splash unit you'd have to flush forver to get it all out.I am a transmissin technician trust me. Fluidchange won't really do anything any ways just messes with the friction modifiyers. Best advice is to leave well enuff alone/ if the fluid is burnt the tranny is on its way out

What do you mean it'll take forever to flush the fluid out? I went to JiffyLube and they used their T-Tech machine or whatever to flush my auto tranny. They connected 2 hoses, one for input and one for output. The new fluid was red and they pumped it until the fluid coming out from the output hose was red, which means the tranny has been completely flushed. Or that's what I thought.

Does this mean you wouldn't change your ATF ever? I'm not sure about that...

Just do the change yourself. Disconnect the return line from the radiator to the trasmission and run the car till about 2 quarts come out (the pump in the transmission will pump it out). Refill the trans with the new fluid, and pump out another 2. Keep repeating until fresh fluid comes out. Idling in park won't hurt the transmission if the fluid goes a little low for a few seconds. I've done this on my car and there is very little mixing between the fluids. Doesn't take long to do either. Unless your current transmission fluid is bright red, it's worth doing.
