Bodyshop and I can't figure out how to install Stillen Side Skirts
 

It's for a 97-99 Max. And it's the Stillen Polyurethane B.Kit and my body shop and I can't figure out how it's going to go on. If we put over the side frame over the side it hits the door because there isn't enough clearence. How in the world does it go on???

There should be enough gap between the door and lower portion that it fits in. Mine does at least. You might need to use a bit of 3m tape to hold it down if you have parts that rub the door.

So it goes underneath the doors and then overlaps the side? Someone around Central NJ, any shops that can help me? The skirts are painted ready to be installed :-\.

If I were you I would take your kit and RUN from that body shop. If they can't figure out how the skirts go on then they shouldn't call themselves a body shop. I sure wouldn't want them touching my car!!!

Bro they did my Z3 Fenders, installed my CF hood, did my LED mirrors, INSTALLED and PAINTED my front lip, rear valence, and did a door, as well as my front bumper, and rear bumper. All came out perfect, just that my door has to be wetsanded, and car is going in again on Monday for that. They're friends of mine, and one of the guys there has a WRX Impreza, and a turbo charged S2000 and he did all the mods including the turbo himself. Plus they worked on Corvettes, Benzes, SUV's, etc, their prices are phenomenal, and I too myself am stumped on how the skirts will go on.

like others have said, there should be enough clearance for the doors to close when the skirts are on. if not then you may have to realign your doors so that they close properly or possibly shave off some of the skirt to allow clearance. I did have a slight problem with the corner of the door rubbing on the skirt but I was still able to close the door.

Just slide them on and doubleside tape the top that goes under the door and screw them on the ends. My driver side door hits a littlewhen i close it, but passanger is good. Just slip them over...
