changed plugs...what's up with my old ones?

hey all:

replaced my plugs to NGK Coppers...

2/4/6 (front bank) plugs all looked good.
1/3/5 (firewall bank) plugs were a different story.

1/3 both had brown (rust) colored dust on the plugs and on the
coil pack...also, the plug shaft seemed to have surface rust/discoloration.

5 smelled like gas...???

any ideas on the 1/3/5???

also, to those that are scared of cylinder#5, the thing on top of the
cylinder comes off with two bolts -- if you remove it, the plug is easily
accessible.

cheers!

Search online for "spark plug condition" or "spark plug readings" and you'll find answers. The Haynes manual has it on the inside of the back cover.

One of my plugs was wet with oil too. Forgot which one, need to get it checked out since my car is running like crap.

Thanks...none of my plugs have oil on them...and I've seen the Haynes,
which is how I know that the first three were A-OK.

cheers!
