Can't get torque member bolts off!
 

Tried to take apart my front brakes...I got the calipers off, but when I try to loosen the torque member bolts...NOTHING. So I decided to take my impact gun out, won't budge. This is crazy, my gun is rated to 250 lbs of torque on those sh*ts wouldn't move. When I did my rears it was fine, came out nice and easy...but both sides they wouldnt come out

PS - I also tried using PB Blaster and it didnt help

If you have a torch, heat the bolts up then take a wrench to it.

How hot should I get them? Like glowing red or just before...and should I use a regular wrench or my impact gun?

Don't get them red hot, and don't heat them for long. You really don't want the heads to snap off from ruining the strength of the steel.

You tried an 18" breaker bar and deadblow mallet?

Well sorta, I put a 2 ft extension on my ratchet, and they still wouldnt move. I have no idea how I can get these off. I thought for sure my impact gun would take it off but it wouldn't. I guess Ill just bring it to a garage...last thing I was look to do

Turn your wheel so you get the maximum amount of clearance, get a 3' pipe from the hardware store plumbing section, put it on your longest breaker, and bust em loose. Lets say you weight 200lbs. 3x200=600 ft lb of tq. If that doesn't break it loose nothing will. Soak it with some lurbricant first. If you can't get it loose with this method I will eat my shirt. An aluminum hockey stick shaft is what I use to break tough bolts.

An Easton stick, no doubt. Try the graphite/kevlar sticks for the extra difficult bolts.

Seriously, sometimes nuts and bolts will corrode together, and you'll end up breaking the bolt or the socket before you get it loose. In cases like that, heat will work to break the bond.

How long have you soaked them in PB Blaster? Give them an overnight with soaked rags and try again.

Using a stick helps for getting leverage, but since it's not solid to the wrench it's not great for hammering. The 18" breaker + deadblow mallet is fantastic since the shock of the mallet strike safely shatters the corrosion buildup. Just plain twisting doesn't have the same effect, IMO. Sears 18" breaker + deadblow mallet is like $40 very well spent. I use them all over my car: exhaust bolts, suspension bolts, brake bolts, the list goes on.

There were times where I had to heat bolts up until they were a little red.
