:nutkick: Not a big fan.

JeremyMarkham Nov 25, 2003 10:00 PM

BTW, i'm not feeling the M_A_X_I_M_A emblem on your dash. Other than that...

indigomax Nov 25, 2003 10:01 PM

it looks cool man...but btw buy a new rims!!!

Bmr4life Nov 25, 2003 10:25 PM

how much did that cost? you got rims for it yet?

Jepht20 Nov 25, 2003 10:42 PM

came out pretty good, nice job.

as far as what jeremymarkham said, maybe move your maxima emblems down a little off the airbag and in the middle portion of the dash.

I30tMikeD Nov 25, 2003 11:38 PM

Makes your car look like a fish

foetray Nov 26, 2003 01:04 AM

looks good.

nupe500 Nov 26, 2003 05:35 AM

what is the deal with the gap between the fender and the door? I always wondered what this would look like up close...thanx for the pics...different look

Capital15 Nov 26, 2003 09:54 AM

Woooowww!! That Max needs to be dropped!!!!Those fenders look better than the first z-fenders that came out for our cars.

infinitiblast Nov 26, 2003 10:01 AM

Z-fenders look good.......................on one car.......the z-car.

Perhaps paint the grille in the z fenders the same color?

MaxedOutOfCash Nov 26, 2003 10:03 AM

Don't take this the wrong way: I know you're only 18 and probably don't have much cash but some advice for you...don't turn your car into a ricy sedan...get rid of those "type s racing floormats", type s steering wheel cover, and I'm not really digging the blue at all on your car......save up some money and when doing something on your car, make it something that is worth the time and money...i've been there...i was 18 and had a 240sx put neons and stuff on it, but it didn't do anything except attract cops and I ended up with a bunch of tickets in my hand......
max looks good, but don't go overboard.....

Capital15 Nov 26, 2003 10:07 AM

:sprint: on the NO-NO ricey sedan.

Haha. Well put. Sorry but I have to agree 100 percent with Maxed. Those floor mats and steering wheel cover... :slap:

JNCoRacer Nov 26, 2003 12:53 PM

Ok dude, fist off the fenders look good. Nice job. Second, yeah...get some rims and drop that mofo. And last, change the interior. The blue painted dash is really tacky...trust me. I know all about a blue interiors on a black Maxima. I had it before. Now I'm a reformed ricer.

I'm so glad we fixed you... damn.. i still shiver seeing all that... :Puke:

Oblongshapes Nov 26, 2003 03:30 PM

Heh, yea when i first got the car i did go overboard with some tacky stuff, i am saving up for an aluminium interior. As for the drop, im getting springs this christmas, and rims are my graduation present. So the car will look good by the end of the year.

Ladzio Nov 26, 2003 03:33 PM

yep, rims competely change the look, those should be like first on the list ;)

JNCoRacer Nov 26, 2003 03:41 PM

I say go for the drop first, that way it'll complete the look as soon as the rims go on.

99Maxima5sp Nov 26, 2003 04:02 PM

Z fenders are called that because they belong on the Z3. For the money you spent on those you coulda probably has some rims or a drop.

Also, as previously stated, ditch the Type S (wtf?!?!?) floormats/steering cover and get a black leather wrapped steering wheel cover or something and switch out those type-hideous...errr...S...floormats for some OEM ones. I would also try and paint those blue interior trim pieces back to black or just get an aluminum overlay kit. The blue underneath the hood looks fine, just dont go overboard, theres a fine line between nice and tacky...

Im 18 too man, college and work, and no money to spend, but please, stay away from the ricer aisle at your local advance/autzone/pep boys store

That is all....

JeremyMarkham Nov 26, 2003 07:59 PM

Rofl. Who said anything about us being classy and driving BMW's and Infinity's? I know I didnt. You said yourself "...let me know what you guys think." Hate to break this to you but we did. Get over it. Nobody has to like the same sh!t that you do. Its all a matter of opinion and in my opinion you have some ricey looking stuff in your car. Im done.

Hmm, well as JeremyMarkham so kindly stated, you did ask for everyones opinion, and if you cant accept it, then dont post your damn pics, plain and simple. No need to get all stupid over it. What do you expect? Everyone to be like "wow, thats sooo cool, i want type-S floor mats!!!!". You know when you post pics of stuff, theres gonna be some out of the thousands of .org members that wont like it.

Its fine and dandy for you to buy whatever you want and put whatever you want on your car, but dont get all defensive when someone doesnt like what you have. Also, I never stated i was too classy to not like type-S stuff. Its tacky in my eyes, so therefore i wouldnt adorn my car with Type-S sh!t. Oh, and one more thing, its infiniti

A-Ron Max Nov 26, 2003 10:20 PM

Yea i'm gonna have to agree and say its lookin pretty lame....you have a 5-speed maxima...a great car that has the potential to look really good, don't rice it out. I'd say ditch those tails and get some red/clears, bring your interior back to stock, ditch the fenders, get some springs and new wheels, and get rid of that muffler and you'll be good to go.

My infiniti is in my garage.

JeremyMarkham Nov 26, 2003 10:27 PM

Not looking good Oblong...

JNCoRacer Nov 26, 2003 10:42 PM

The truth hurts, huh?

JeremyMarkham Nov 27, 2003 11:23 AM

You DO have a nice car bro but the way you are messing it up isnt cool. But hey, its your preference where you want to go with it. Just dont roll down the street, see people looking at your ride and think that they think it hella tight. Because right now its hella ricey. Take my advice...(former Civic AND Integra owner). I KNOW whats ricey.

MaxedOutOfCash Nov 27, 2003 11:25 AM

We are not flaming you man....it's just that we don't want to see the same thing happen to the maxima's as to the honda's.........you can get a good dash kit for a $100...pm me and i'll let you know where......

SuperFishstick Nov 27, 2003 11:41 AM

looks nice. U need nicer rims....

Charcoal95GXE Nov 27, 2003 12:06 PM
