who's done a TB mod?
All I know of is 96sleeper...
maybe its a cool boosted mod?
seems like a good idea....i wonder what kind of gains....i doubt anyone has recorded the difference.

You mean a throttle body coolant bypass? I had it done for a while, made my car idle funny, and I didn't feel any performance increase.

Ive had my pathfinder Tb on for awhile it gives nice peak horsepower gains 197.1 at around 5700 ,i think it made my peak torque higher than usual 192.44 around 4650. From looking at my scan tool my airrflow is alot more.
What would be great is if say someone with the same mods as me execpt no PTB, i would check are airflow rate( make sure engine is same temp and air I CAN DO ALL OF THIS WITH MY SCAN TOOL)and see the % diff between both cars at same rpm . Car with more airflow = more power :grinno:

I had my throttlebody ported and it definitely felt more responsive.

Did you also get the manifold port matched?

i "tightened" my throttle cable, and it helped me gas pedal react faster :D
