help...car won't start
 

alrite...i came bak from lake arrowhead yesterday at like 2pm...i decide to goto eat dinner at like 7PM...i put in the key and try to start the car but it won't start...when i turn the key...i hear it crank but it doesn't turn over...do i hav to replace my alternator?...if so how much?

Check the battery or starter first.

I'm confused.........if you hear it crank then whats the problem? Maybe you mean you hear it turn over but not crank. I guess. If the later is the case is it a slow or fast turn over?

it turns over fast

check for codes. may be fuel pump, Throttle Position Sensor, or CrankShaft position Sensor. Try gasing her while starting.
