ECU: Can an ECU from an Automatic be used in a Manual?

Trying to source an ECU, here. Any help?

Yes, it will work, but it will through numerous (3-5) CELs.

what kind of CELs? what causes it to trigger? just wondering...

It will through some tranny CELs. I think they were (Auto shift tranny solenoid, TCM circuit, etc etc etc.). I can't remember exactly becuase it was over 1.5 years ago, but yes, it will work.

Thanks for the heads up.

Ok, I guess I'll hold out for a manual ECU. Don't wanna deal with un-resolvable CEL's.
