Rotors, rotors, rotors....

Did you have problems with the stock set up ? How hard do you drive ? Any racing,Autocrossing etc ? These are the questions I would ask. I have the stock rakes with 60K and I have no complaints. I'd shop around for stock rotors and upgrade to porterfield pads for better bite and brake feel. Just my opinion especially if cost is a factor.

WEll waht happened is I got my pads done and they also cut the front rotors. I have a feeling they cut them too thin cuz the car does not feel good braking anymore. it feels too loose. so I figured I'd best replace the rotors with either Stock or aftermarket depending on the cost.

stillen
yeah my friend installed cross drilled rotors from stillen, and there went his car on a freeway. rotors cracked wheel went in front of car, uh oh hit center divider, then banked to the right. rip to his max. but then it was revived. i say get bear or brembro fronts.. front is more important. you can leave the rear stocks

stock vs perf.
stock rotors in most cases are smaller both in thickness and diameter. some perf rotors are the same sized tho. cross drilled rotors help help heat ventilation. larger rotors create larger surface area for more stopping power. more friction meaning faster slow down.
