baby looks nice!!! they don't make it for the maxima but the 300zx pods fit perfectly on our maxima's!
i got the digital air/fuel and fuel pressure gauges =)

it's a couple of gauges that our maxes don't have..
you can pop anything into the pods (ex. voltage,boost,fuel,oil,temp...). i installed it at the 18th ave place we dropped by last time.

they do make them for the Maxima. but when you try to order it they will say its not availble but it is. your 300ZX one fits perfect? ive heard and seen some 300ZX pods that still FIT...juss not excatly perfect. I have the Maxima dual pod and it fits perfect.

Hmm...they do make it for the maxima. Don't have the model number but you can get them from Summit Racing. I don't have any pictures right now. I'll upload some when I get home.

it's ok..just a little gap at the bottom that is not noticed...
 

i didn't know they had them for the max. the shop had to go out to the warehouse to pick it up too...i guess even he didn't know

I met up with Vic yesterday,(9-25) Man, that air ratio meter is outta this world! I gotta get one! It was a nice clean install too.

could someone post instructions? thanx. Do you have to cut anything or modify anything? or is it just a simple install.

No, your pillar stays as is...
 

the pod goes over it. So you can't see the holes underneath it for the mechanical work =)

i got a fuel pressure meter and it stunk up my car like crazy... i removed it. did you have this problem?

I don't remember the model numbers. It's an electrical short sweep fuel pressure gauge and eletrical tranny temp gauge. Ok, I found the model number for the fuel pressure gauge. It's new this year for auto meter. http://www.autometer.com

Look on http://www.autometers.com for the different styles. I got the ultra lite version. I bet you got the mechanical fuel pressure gauge. You can't use mechanical ones inside the car. They are made to mount on the outside of the car. They are cheaper but probably give a more precise reading. That's why you see all the Mustangs and Camaros mount their gauges outside on the hood. It's very dangarous to mount any mechanical gauge inside the car except for low pressure type of reading like Boost. All that high pressure fuel right near your face. Talk about a flame thrower during an accident. The eletrical ones use a sender unit that converts the mechanicl fuel flow into eletrical readings.

The a pillar is held by some metal snaps. Just pull hard and it comes off.
