How many people running Eibach Camber bolts?

I am going to be purchasing these, and I would like to know how many of you are running on them and for how long you've been doing so. From what I've read and been told they do not support the pressure of the suspension for long, and they give out. I find that highly unlikely as they are made by a reputable company who specializes in this stuff. If you can provide a picture of them installed, that would be perfect. :)

I have them but I have yet to install them because I am lazy. Come to think of it, I don't even know where they are right now... I do want to install them though as I go through $700 in Toyo T1-S every year.

Did they come with instructions, not sure how they actually work when installed.

Nealoc187 03-27-2004 05:23 PM

Yeah. They are just thinner in the center and there is a part that is sortof oval shaped, so you can turn the bolt the desired amount to angle the spindle and hub and you can adjust the camber that way. It's hard to describe but it would be quite obvious to you if you were to see them and if you've installed front struts before.

The instructions were useless as I recall, they basically said remove old bolts, install eibach camber bolts, get an alignment and adjust as needed.

Lookin good!!!! :)

Of course, not if you want alot of treadlife :(

I got the bolts installed and went to a performance alignment shop to increase my negative camber... I think they would work in reverse as well :) (assuming thats what you want to do)

uhh it's impossible to have negative camber in all corners since the rear is not an independent suspension.

I just got my Eibach camber bolts today and will be getting them installed tomorrow..

Could you try to get them to explain how they work to you please, and share the wealth.. :shy:

dizmax96 03-31-2004 03:31 AM

ill take a picture and you decide if its negative or not.. cuz that **** is definitely not straight.. its prolly not.. but its sure does look slanted to me..

i installed them when i re-did my suspension this past summer. I just had my mechanic adjust them when he did my alignment after chewing threw a pair of tires, hehe.

Sometimes the camber is not always the cause at all times when you lower your car. It can be your TOE most of the time. Because when I lowered my car, the TOE was way off they were able to fix it and it cambered a little and they were able to fix it. No camber kits needed for my car. I'm running on 16", Tein S-Tech, KYB GR-2

Mine work great

I have a 98 GXE and installed camber bolts on it.(forget what company made them but not Eibach)........Mine work great. Mine has been lowered 2" and have Kumho 235/45/17's on it and haven't seen any irregular wear since putting them on 5 months ago.they also seem pretty strong. When I get the money I am going to replace them with a kit for the top of the strut. Even though I haven't had any probs i just can't stand they thought of pone breaking with me driving..ha.ha......... Hope this helped!!!

Oops never saw this post...I honestly dont know how they work. All i know is that my mechanic put the bolt in through two empty holes that had nothing there stock and he started tighting the bolt or something in the general area. No real information I know...but it did fix the negative camber on my sprint drop for the most part. I have absolutely no tread on the inside of both front tires :slant:

I'm too lazy to go get an alignment spec -.- anyone with Tein H-techs ever needed camber bolts?
