I don't believe it!! It wasn't my suspension
 

For the past year I've been living with what I thought was a squeaking front suspension. Yesterday I took out the control arm and I noticed there was shining spot on the bracket that holds up the rear bushing. I thought that was the source of the squeaks but after insulating it with rubber the car still squeaked on rough roads.
I put my head out the window while driving and realised that the sound wasn't coming from the wheel area but more to the front of the car. I got home and started inpecting everything and I noticed that the hood lock was dry and rusted!! :rotz: I put some grease on it and the car is quiet once more :grinno:
