MEVI's without ECU/REV Limiter

How many of you guys are running an MEVI without an ECU? I ask this because I plan on getting one really soon, but as my car is a 99, they don't have an ECU out for my car. I was wondering what are the gains like.. Or is it even worth it without the ECU? What kind of differences will be seen at the 1/4 mile track? Butt dynos? Thanks.

top end (highway) is really good...you will notice a lag in low end power lets say around town....one trades off for another. top end the car is an animal...it shoots to redline after 5K...very hard to explain to someone that hasnt seen it..AMAZING...I have MEVI and NO ECU...the low end loss isnt noticed at first, but you will eventually

you could go ahead with the project and just hope for the ecu upgrade to come along for your car model later ? this is way off but you could also go with nitrous or FI to compliment mevi?

Yeah FI would go nicely with the VI, I know that's not going to happen anytime soon. Anyone with a VI without an ECU, what kind of times are you running at the track?
