Anyone's fuel gauge fluctuate?

Recently, my fuel gauge fluctuates a quarter down and back up and stays at that mid mark of that quarter after I fill up the tank. I still get about the expected mileage out of the tank. Anyone else familiar with this?

Mine fluctuates but not as bad, it goes down a little bit when i put my foot on the gas and goes back up when i take myfoot off the pedal.

our fuel gauges suck..they fluctuate way too much. just by hitting the gas a little hard the needle goes down a noticeable amount.

Gee I wonder why? If you step on the gas the fuel in the tank is pushed against the back wall making the little floater thing sink down further. Slow down and it will go back to the same spot.
