not sure if anyone'll care...but pics of 95 tails w/ redded blinker & tinted reverse

i have had the redded out blinkers for quite some time, but finally got around to installing the reverse housings. i'll get pics of them lit when i get the chance, but light definately shows through. it took me so long because i somehow had 2 stripped screws on one of the lights. took me quite some time to pull the screw completely out! i think i've had more tail light combos than anyone: stock, altezzas, redded outs, red/clears, back to redded outs, now redded outs/tinted inners. :) anyways...

more random pics on my homepage.

i'm not sure if i am gonna tint the top half of the outers too like daveb and a few others have done. i haven't seen anyone else with this set up so i'll see if it grows on me.

yeah since i changed my y pipe, it's been crooked. don't worry though, this summer, i'm gonna get a new quiet catback once i can afford it.

did you ever have it set up where the entire tailight is redded out?

i just redded out my corners and i think i'm gonna do the inner (reverse) lights too... anyone got pictures of a setup like that?

Jepht20 Apr 27, 2004 04:22 PM

thought about it but that would be tooooo much red, and illegal. i was gonna add in some reverse lights next to the license plate or somewhere around there, but realized it would probably be more work than it was worth, and ugly.

those turned out great jeff! i want to do those to mine, except have the whole bottom that dark, to match my bumper lights. we should do that sometime soon. great work, very innovative.

Looks great. But I prefer that part with the black to be clear.

Nice. On mine, after i redded out the amber, i tinted the outer parts as well as the reverse light. I think it looks really good. It looks sweet at night, because when you are driving, it looks black, but when your turn signals come on it is red. I think I used 3 coats of Night Shades on the outsides, and 5 on the insides. What product did you use?

Jepht20 Apr 28, 2004 06:58 AM

i also used niteshades...do you have any day pics of them?

Brudaddy Apr 28, 2004 07:21 AM

Looks good, Jepht20.
That is a lot of setups you have had.
Looks like someone is bored a lot. ha ha

i guess no one really likes em all that much... :gotme:

they ended up way darker than i had planned but i still like them. i'm debating whether or not to tint the whole top...what do you think???

maxspeed96CT Apr 28, 2004 06:37 PM

cool, you always doing some crazy ish to your lights, i think you should tint the hole top part tho, but what you have now would look hot on a black car.
