Best Suspension Setup???

Alright. I bought a the KYB GR-2's. I need to know what springs will give these struts/shocks a good combo. I want a decent drop, that will fill up the 4x4 gap. So what brand of springs do you all recommend? Thanks

The GR2's are stock replacements and AREN'T really designed for the drop you want.

i have maxspeed and tokico HP. the ride is firm over stock GXE suspension. the drop is the least out of all the springs, but it gives my car a cleaner look.

I hear a lot of people say gr2s arnt to good. Then i talk to other people who say there just fine. For me i think im going to go with GR2's. The Maxmod sites says GR2s are fine with softer springs. I think my setup with be GR2's with progress springs. I agree that you need better springs if you are going to have stiff springs and are going to be autocrossing and racing. But for me im just the poor HS student wanting to have a nice ride.

Tires are almost just as important as suspension setup. Also if your going to be autocrossing you will need a FSB, and a rear sway bar.

Well good luck.

GR2's should be fine with the small drop springs......Maxspeed, Progress, Tein H-Techs, H&R's, Eibachs.

I have GR-2 and Progress and it is GREAT. The ride is not too firm. Pics on my homepage.

Gr-2 is about 15% stiffer then stock (per KYB). I had them with Suspension Techniques springs (not the largest drop but a very stiff spring) and they were stilling going strong when I sold the car

ST springs are a 2" drop so that IS almost the biggest drop on a max. I wouldn't do it since it's the same as putting those springs on stock struts/shocks.

No, ST springs are one of the least that 1.3 inches. See www.stracing.com
