HELP! Hi-beam indicator always on, half the lights aren't working

I noticed that after I reset my ECU today, that my highbeam indicator is permanently on and my left front clearance lamp doesn't work, and my right front head lamp doesn't work. Also my highbeam indicator is always on, even when I am not in the highbeam setting. Does anyone know what is causing this? The headlamp bulbs are fine...I cannot seem to remove the clearance lamp though...extremely hard.

Thanks

SAme thing happened to me...it was my headlights....when that indicator is on it means, or at least in my case to get new headlights...the ones I had were too hot for the wires and almost fryed my wiring harness....just buy some better bulbs and don't use some of the ****ty ones they have on ebay.

Well I checked the bulbs and even replaced them with the oem ones, and I still have the problem. The problem is directly related to the right front headlamp...I am thinking a relay is screwed.

When I had that problem it was simply my right headlight....i took it out and bought new ones and haven't had a prob in almost a year now....your wiring harness might be jacked -_-

On the 3rd gen, For what it's worth, the steering column light switch can die-causing the highbeam indicator to stay on I think, and one headlamp not to work. Maybe this is the same, maybe not. Of course check bulbs, wires, etc...

The harness/system is doing something very strange. I just swapped in 3 different bulbs into the non working passenger side of which 1 bulb seemed to cure the problem. I am still going to go ahead and blame the harness/relays/whatnot and replace the whole damn thing tommorow.

Oh well, thanks for the help guys.

PS. the clearance lights are tough as hell to remove..anyone have any tips?

I think there are two relays-try swapping them and see if the problem switches sides. Then check harness or switch.

WD-40 is your friend. Spray the connecting ball bearing that holds the lights together with it and slowly pry them apart with a screw driver. Just go slow so you don't crack the lense. Took me 10 minutes the first time and was indeed a PIA. Good luck.
