Off the line you should jerk him, but top end he may catch you. German cars are better known for their top end performance as it is more suited for the Autoban.

With the Red Top and Altezzas, Maxima wins!

I think the 528 will take a stock maxima but not a decently moded one. I cant really tell from the list of mods u have but its a close one. I know i raced a 525 auto vs my 97 se 5spd and had him but not by a lot.

LOL i like tha way you included useless mods like gen 2 altezzas and optima red top nah im jus kidding latnchno. well the bmw has some power and its rwd. it may be a close one and it sounds like it may be a good race. you might have to cut some weight off like take out your spare and sound system (if you have 1). i see you are an auto as well, i think with a 5spd you would have a MUCH better chance. just make sure you get a good launch. id like to see this race. good luck man and try to sneak something heavy into his trunk

You might be a little generous with 15.5...I'd say under 16 but over 15.5 for an auto. Either way, it'll be close if the BMW driver knows his stuff.

I've killed a '98 auto 525i before and I'm auto. He's a 528 I think you can still have him. Go for it and let us know.

BTW I have Injen CAI, Budget Y pipe, Stillen B pipe and muffler.
