tire noise [long]

I have a ’96 Se. Three weeks ago my left rear tire got a slash in it (product of New Orleans streets). So I bought two new tires and put those on the front, and rotated the front ones to the back. The first day I drove on the new tires they were just fine. I took a little road trip to test them out (about 120 miles, including some driving on dirt roads). Everything was fine. The next day I start driving it and there is a rubbing noise coming from the front right of the car. At first it sounded like there was something on the tire that was rotating and rubbing against something. I got out, checked it out but nothing was wrong. I haven’t had time to check it out further and I drove it for about a week. Today I took the front right wheel off to see if there was anything I could see, but everything looked fine. However I did notice three things:

1) They put on new valve stems, but the one on the front right tire is not working, it is not giving any pressure reading.

2) When looking under the car from the front, the front two tires seem to have rather large bulges on the inside of the tire where the tire meets the ground.

3) My new tires are stock size, p215’s, but my old tires on the back are p205’s.

Any ideas on what this noise might be? Also, I haven’t had it aligned yet, could that be it?
