Brakes feel sluggish... what's up?
I'm driving around in the rain here in Denver and I notice that my car seems eager to go forward... I mean... when I press the brakes, more pressure needs to be applied to keep the car at a stop (automatic).
Funny, I thought... So I tried pressing the brake all the way down from the point I at which the car is at a stop and noticed that the pedal doesn't travel as far as it used too. If it's due to rain water, I'm surprised cuz I've never experienced this before. I worrying that my brakes are failing, if that's even possible. My fluid level were fine about a month ago... I'll check again today, but what do you guys think it going on??? Brake cylinder failing????? |
Or brake pads are wearing thin.

My brakes arent as responsive as my gf's maxima's brakes but thats because hers doesnt have abs. Do what I do, brake hard once in a while to build up pressure. You might need to bleed your brakes to clear the air out. Take it to a mechanic and get yours totally checked out.

Do you have Abs
