Who sells NGK's: Update

Yea, call me a newbee or whatever, but before I was reading the forums and such I installed bosch plugs and I'd like to switch over to NGK's. What type of local store carries them if any... I've got a DIY, Autozone, NAPA, and some other weird place .. i checked the autozone website and I didn't see any NGK's listed.

Or, do I have to order online?

------------------------

Update: Just had a nice little drive

Drove to NAPA and CarQuest, neither had them in stock.
NAPA had some NGK "V-Power" plugs with a "copper core" (but they sure didn't look copper to me) which carried a smaller price tag then the regular coppers in their computer, but none in stock.

CarQuest only had some NGK iridiums or whatever for $18/ea

DIY/AutoZone had no NGK's whatsoever... Kind of hard to believe I'm gonna have to order $2 spark plugs online

It will probably be cheaper to order online from a place like Jerry Rome Nissan, i.e jrnissanparts.com, or Courtesy Nissan, i.e. courtesyparts.com... I think the 6 plugs run about 50-60 bucks at those sites I listed. Not sure how much Napa/Pepboys carry them for.

Go to NAPA and tell them you want BKR5E-11 NGK spark plugs. they will be able to hook you up with that. That is the part number for the coppers.

They should be less than $2 each.

O'Reilly Auto Parts, about $1.50 each.

The O'Reiley here is g.a.y.
I tried to get them to look up that part number, and they just sat there and looked at me. They were like, "But it says that you need platinums in there." Bunch of idiots. I have had nothing but crap come from them.

Napa just had the things ready before I got my sentence finished. I think they are a tons better parts store.

If they're too lazy to look it up by part number the stock number which is the number they carry on their computer system is 6953 if I'm not mistaken... if worse comes to worse just ask for 6 plugs for a 97 Altima, its the same plug.

I didn't know that at the time, but would have been useful.
Anyway, I like NAPA.

Good comment, Ant.
