I did the same thing 2 weeks ago. I thought they came out great! Until I bought some new headlights and realized that NOTHING can compare with new headlights.

I actually went 600, 1500, 2000 grit. Then 3M rubbing coumpound, then McGuires plastic cleaner, then 3M plastic polish. They actually came out better than those pictures show, and I was still not happy.

My recommendation, spend the $140 and get new headlights off of ebay.

How do your headlights get like that anyway, mine look just like new almost after 9yrs. :gotme:

I bet you $100 if you put a new headlight next to it you'd notice a HUGE difference. I didn't notice that mine were dirty until I put my projectors and HIDS in and actually had decent light coming from them.

He cleaned the outside which is what gets oxidized and scratched. Not the inside.

Your 95 has glass headlights which can't yellow or haze. They only get pitted. The 97-99 headlights are plastic.

Good point I didn't see that. The 97-99's are also much better performers.

I have never cleaned my headlights, but they look pretty sharp to me... not sure why yours are getting so hazy. Too much sun?
