194s DO NOT fit in '97s+

You gotta PAINT those bulbs.

bigleman Aug 23, 2004 02:29 PM

the bulbs for the 98s are 74's

DAVE Sz Aug 23, 2004 02:35 PM

They are not #74, they are some proprietary crap. 74s do fit though. Why do you have a 98 cluster ina 95? Custom look?

chrish09 Aug 23, 2004 09:32 PM

i have the same problem, at first i ordered the 74's because they looked like the right size, but they were too small. I still put them in though, but they are very dim. I then ordered the 194's and they are too frigin big, I dont know what to do

look no matter how many times it is said 95-97 have 194's...98-99 use #74's no one ever listens....you can buy #74 leds off ebay.

194 fits into 97's. 98+ uses 74's as stated.

do the led gauge mod, it's pretty hot. I get a lot of oooh's and Ahhhh's when people look at my gauges. And to think they're stock!
