It's MOD Time!

Hey all,
I want to get Mods done within the next 2 weeks, before I spend my money on non-maxima products. I want to do at least the y-pipe. I don't want bees and I don't want it to be LOUD if I keep everything else stock. If anyone has any catback suggestions...please let me know. Also, I'm thinking underdrive pulley or hybrid intake...which should I go with?

Thanks in advance for all the help!

udp is not really worth it, hybrid or even short ram would be benefitial... its what i have and i love it! if you get a y-pipe with stock exhaust i think it may sound funny from what i have heard... but i would recommend apexi world sport... i have heard good stuff about it.

Okay thanks, I tried looking for apexi but I can only find for 94-96. What type of hybrid do you think would be better? Got any ideas about a good catback system? I want something to sound almost stock in regular driving...

get an HAI, and a y pipe... best bang for the buck. Originally, I had the y on with stock b pipe and muffler, and I sounded just fine. The only thing that changed was the throaty growl increased.

not really knowledgable about y-pipes... but warpspeed has three i think to choose from, and of course you could go Cattman, but thats probably the top of the line...

not sure if you know about this, but it should help: http://maxmods.dyndns.org/index.php?MaximaPerformance

B)
"Automatic transmission" = http://www.brianv.net/mods/filter/ or after market CAI
"Manuel transmission" = http://www.vqpower.com/v2/modules.ph...howpage&pid=35 or any aftermarket Hybrid system

2nd: Exhaust

If you can afford it I suggest http://www.ceasarschariot.com/header.html
mainly because if you just purchase a regular Y-pipe & down the road want to purchase headers. The first Y-pipe you bought will be worthless since it will not bolt up to the headers. So it's kind of a waste of money unless you never plan on buying headers.

imho the Apexi muffler is real ugly. Id go with the new greddy SP catback over the Apexi anyday, least i did

the UDP will just free up a few extra HP that the motor already had. i noticed a lil power gain when i had this installed.

Budgets Y-pipe rom what ive heard and seen has a better built flex section than most other competitors out there.
