KYB AGX's what are your settings?
I just installed mine yesterday along with Sprint springs. I set them at 3 front and 4 rear. What does everyone set there at for everyday driving? Also include spring type.
i'm no sprints and i stay at 4/8, then sometimes if i am going to haul i put the fronts on 1 and keep the backs on 8, cause i do not like changing them.

I do hwever want it to handle good. The combo is a bit bouncy for my tastes, but not too bad. I figure when I get the settings right, it should take care of most of that. |
I had mine at 1/2 for a softer ride, But even that don't come close to the illuminas
i have same setup (AGX's, sprint with once coil cut in rear) and i keep mine at 3F, 6R. the ride is not toooooo bad.
I have H&Rs and I have my AGXs set at 1 front and 6 rear. This is the reason: The Maxima has a natural tendency to understeer. Stiffening the rear suspension reduces the understeer, so I keep the fronts on the softest setting and crank the rears down pretty tight for better handling.

on sprints and they stay at 4/8
i have sprit springs and KYB AGX shocks and i have mine at 4 and 8 and dam is it ****ing stiff every little hole i hit seems like the wheel is gonna fall of.
I have them on Eibach Pros.I leave mine all at 1.I did once ride them at 8 for like 2 weeks and damn they are stiff.Made me wanna cut the power steering belt off.Too stiff for daily use.

3f 6r
on maxspeed |
i have mine on 3f 6r on gc's. i have a friend who has his set on 4 and 8 and his car isnt any stiffer then my car.
I have H&R springs with the AGX setting set on 3f 6r.
GCs and AGX... i have 3F and 6R i think...
With the GCs, the ride gets a lil stiffer, but the HIGH A$$ spring rate really makes it just as stiff with any setting that you put it on... :grinno: |
any of you guys have any recomendations on what settings to use for agx and intrax springs. intrax are supposedly a stiffer type sring so i was thinking of maybe 2 front and 5 or 6 rear. anyone using this setup.
2/5 on Maxspeeds
3 front, 6 rear on progress.
I was at 2f and 6r ....but went to 1f and 1r today to compare ride quality.... haven't driven enough at 1 & 1 to compare yet....2 & 6 is stiff...... I'm on Tein S-techs
Currently 2 front and 4 rear, and riding on H&R's. I am looking forward to getting the rear shock mounts that Mzmtg is selling, they will help out in getting rid of some of the stiffnes in the back.

i had mine set at 1/1 for a looong time and bumped it up to 3/4 for a more sporty ride. But i may go back to my old setup with H&R's... Ant |
Magikone69: for the front its a personal thing i ran them on 1 daily, but the rear needs 4 or higher b/c of the lack of wheel travel, unless you get some rear mounts (hint hint).
cut front intrax im on 2, the rear Eibachs are at 1. Eibachs are 1 all around daily. |
i have them at 3 and 6. how long are these struts supposed to last by the way guys?
