Pics of H&R equiped max's.
Does anyone have pics of there cars lowered with H&R springs? Currently I have Progress and I like the way my car looks but the ride quailty is deplorable. So I have heard that the H&R's offer a more stock like ride? Any friendly input on this would be great, thanks.

Here are before and after pics of H&R/AGX combo...this will probably give you a better picture of how low the H&R provides.

H&Rs, Koni, Motovational strut mounts, and subframe connectors. Flat out perfect ride. |
H&R's with Illuminas. They've been handling the rough NY streets just fine.

re:H&R pics
remember - those are not even close to stock ride , how can somebody even compare ride on lowering springs and stiffer shocks to stock :banghead:
they ride firm and controlled, but nowhere near stock. http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...07_28_full.jpg http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...7_117_full.jpg Nick. |
So I wonder what would be a more comfortable ride as opposed to the progress/ AGX that I am currently running? How about Eibachs? Do those offer a nice drop/ ride?
By the way that white max looks totally dope! Wish my ride looked as good. |
get rid of those KYB AGX - you'll like riding in your car again.
Nick. |
I also have 100 lbs. of stuff in the trunk, tool bags and subs/box. So that's why the rear looks so low. Even if there wasn't anything in the trunk, the H&Rs do drop the rear a little lower than the front.

I have H&R's with AGX's. See sig

@ Joseph77, the H&R springs are going to be a lot more comfortable than the Eibach's. Those Progress you are running right now will even be smoother and more comfortable.

http://plaza.ufl.edu/syrinx/maxima/hnr3.jpg I would say they've settled a tiny amount since then but those two give you a pretty good idea. IMO the AGX are contributing to the rough ride more than the Progress springs. Also I agree with nick in that people who say H&Rs ride like stock are dead wrong. They ride very well, firm but controlled, but I wouldn't say it's like stock. They are the softest ride of any lowered Maxima I've been in though, including Eibachs and S-Techs. |

I agree that AGXs might be contributing. I swapped out my rear AGX for Illuminas and it was a huge improvement on my Intrax.
If you want low but not harsh, Tein H-Tech springs are reputed to be similar in ride and handling to the H&Rs. |
check out my cardomain page
