What will a cold air intake add for horsepower to a maxima?

bump......def. read the stickies on mods. F.Y.I., just a CAI is not gonna add much gain.

i dunno, i'd beg to differ about the cai adding gain. when matched with my budget y pipe, and some nice cold weather, i dropped .5 seconds off my PB at the track tuesday. 15.994, to 15.435.

Thats what i am saying. Not just a CAI is gonna do much of a difference. You said you had a y pipe as well.

hey a CAI is as good as any mods you do to a car but you definitely need to combine it with exhaust and definitely a Y pipe if you don't have atleast an exhaust don't bother ...but I tell you my made a big diferent especialy in sound ....

Im telling you guys, we should make a Intake Sticky with alllllllll the information on all the intakes in the world...

Since they dont read the FAQ's anyways..

But yeah, Intake doesn't do much except add sound, pare it up with the y-pipe.
