Where's the best place to get a silencer?
 

I finally got my custom 2.5" cat-back finished. The sound is very deep but also very loud. I was thinking of getting a silencer instead of putting a resonator in the b-pipe. Thanks for the help.

any local exhaust shops can put on a resonator to quiet it down. expect to pay anywhere from $30-50 installed.

isn't a silencer cheaper though?

A silencer will give you more backpressure, completely eliminating the purpose of the b-pipe......just get a resonator installed.

is a glass-packed resonator any good or is that what they all are? also, does anyone know where i could find sound files of 2.5" cat-backs with and without resonator?
