|
you mean 2500 right?
did you beat the heck out of the tranny in the past 15 minutes? if not then just read the stickies... if you did then turn the car off and wait about 15 minutes... |
if u just put an intake on ur car did you remeber to plug the MAFS plug back in...if not it will do that. i did that the first time and scared the crap out of myself. if thats not the problem its most likely a MAFS
|
you need to replace your headlight fluid? :gotme:
I usually go past 50,000 RPM in 7th gear. |

It is the black pipe thing on your intake with a box on top of it and a connection. If you just put an intake in then it is what you should have kept from the stock one. If you have not then it may have gone bad for some reason. What year is your car? I know some 5th gens have problems with theirs.
|
Oh and by the way MAFS or MAF is known as the Mass Air Flow Sensor.

My **** did that too, scared the crap out of me. That happend after i cut holes in the air intake box. But after it sit for like 30 min at a friends house it was fine. I also reved it up in netural a few times, that seemed ot make it rev higher in gear. Not to mention that most driving over 2,500 rpms is a waste of gas that most .org users do... including myself!

foreal, if you can hit 25000 then tells us what you did
