securing the DCs. How'd you do yours?

looking at instructions on how to secure the DCs. It calls that I unscrew a 10mm hex, but the ones from procarparts just come as a plastic nub and a white plastic plug. I'd like to hear ideas on how every secured theirs. I live on campus and I see plenty of maximas around with missing clears, i for one would like to be the person that spits in their faces.

:: i've read that theres no completely secure way, but I'd just like to hear your methods. Thanks

you can bolt them down.... you can actually reach underneath the car.... but i don't recommend doing it... would you rather have missing clears or a broken headlight... thieves get ticked off when they don't get something they want... i've heard stories where the whole car got keyed because of something stupid like foglights or something that was secured differently than stock....

i have mine on 3M tape but that's just to keep them from falling at higher speeds...

if it's such a problem with theft, why not just keep stock orange ones?

3m tape and adhesive spray worked for me.

if i may ask, where did you spray the adhesive spray and attach the 3m tape. I'm guessing at each ends where it hinges in (closest to wheel well).

in my 95 i took out the fog's and reached in and bolted in the bolt. then put the fogs back on

We used a hot glue gun and glued the connector piece. I haven't had a single problem since...and it's easy to remove still.
