whats the BEST intake?

I just got a 97 maxima and i want to put a cold air intake on it.. I was thinkin a INJEN cold air intake or the Weapon R dragon intake. What are your opinions on those 2? Which intake do you have? Please help me!!!

best intake..

hey man to save u lots of money and give same result/look buy a Real k&n CONE FILTER buy a ebay cold air intake and u got a perfect intake nice sound and nice performance!

I would have to agree... an ebay cold air intake with a K&N air filter seems like it would be the best bang for your buck.

Yeah I wouldnt get the Injen, its not even a true cold air intake. I just got an ebay cold air intake and it works GREAT!!!!!!! It doesnt give to much gains but the sound alone is worth it.

Seems like everyone is on top of this...but I'll post anyway.

If you're wanting performance out of an intake, just stick with your stock airbox, and throw in a K&N filter.

But, if its the nice sound you want, then I definetly recommend an aftermarket intake. If you have the skills you can make your own midpipe and maf adapter and just use a cone filter. If you can't do this, I would probably just buy a cheap setup off of eBay. You won't get any noticeable gains from this, but you will get a nice sound! (I actually lost low-end power with the midpipe setup, but the sound was great!)

I currently have a setup consisting of a homemade maf adapter and a cheap cone filter...hey, it works.
