LED's in Hazard and rear defroster
 

The write up is down for the install of leds in the hazard and rear defroster. Ok do I solder the led straight to the brown contact points? Is a resister needed? Thanks.

Also when i pulled apart the hazard switch, alittle metal thing fell out, i dont know where it goes back so when you push in the hazard, it stays in. Does anyone know exactly where it goes. Thanks.

yes you need to use a resitor. i think the bottom contyacts are the positive.....

Anyone? I dont know where this pin goes in the hazard switch.

Use a multimeter. You do need resistors, if you don't use them you'll blow circuits.

When you have your switch open, there's a small triangular white plastic piece. It has two small grooves in it. The small pin goes at the tip where the two grooves meet.

The reason the switch doesn't return when pushed in is because it needs that little triangular piece to guide it on/off and it can't do that without the little pin in place.

The hazard button is annoying to put back together, just take your time as that little pin loves to fall out of place.

If you try the cruise control, be careful there too, it works totally different but also is annoying to put back together, but if you get this hazard done, the cruise will be cake.
