take out a good 3 hours of the day. i had an auto climate control and did a halfassed job and it still took me 3 hours bc i was so scared to mess it up. take your time, use led's with resistors from ebay seller: cwithk or just get someone to do it from teh org.

There's a write-up in the how-to's. It's not terribly hard. You'll need 3 - 5mm LED's for the ambient lighting and then 1 - 3mm LED for each light under each button including the A/C button and 1 more 3mm LED for the slider that controls the temperature.

Done in white LED's

In the pic, I hadn't done the slider yet because I didn't know I could. You can see it's a faint green. I have since done it also in a white 3mm LED and it matches all the other whiteness. :)

how did you fit a 3mm in the tiny lil space given in the slider?

The old green LED just pulls out. Once you pull it out, you will need it as a ruler. You need a 3mm LED and cut the 3mm LED leads to the exact length of the old green LED including the old LED's leads AND itself. The new LED will sit on top of where the old LED was but it will still fit inside of the slider without any problems.

a 3mm will not fit on the slider i just did this and it is a very small space i had to sand down a 3mm alot with a little sanding drum on a dremel until it almost touched the inside of the led.
