I am thinking of buying an aftermarket OEM spoiler from ebay. Just wondering, the guy who is planning to install it for me asked "since the SE model comes with spoiler, are the GXE's spoiler ready" I think he meant is there any cutting or hard installation involved, etc.

You have to drill about 8 holes and tap into the brake wire to install it. It's simple. If you're mechanic had to ask about it, i'd suggest a new one.
