Keyless entry doesn't work on first or second tries...
 

I picked up my Max a bit over a month ago and its always had this problem. The keyless entry (base model that doesn't pop trunk or roll windows down) always requires three presses to unlock the doors. It disarms itself with each press but requires that third consecutive pressing of "unlock" to actually unlock the doors. It does this with BOTH remotes and even after replacing the batteries. I'm stumped...

maybe you need new remotes, ebay has them cheap

wat if my hazards dont flash after i insert it six times wat do you think is wrong ?

funny, everything on mine works fine, except no flash of hazards when i lock...

wait the windows are supposed to roll down with the remote? i thought something was wrong with my car...lol..i dont remmeber how to get them to roll down again, does anyone know how to do that through the remote? (a remote didn't come with this car so i bought one off of ebay, after i figured out that this max had a keyless alarm in it). thanks

Push the unlock button and hold on to it like you're falling off a cliff and you somehow got a hold of a large stone....til it's all the way down =)

before you do the keyless reprogram make sure you hold the unlock button for more then 3 seconds.. (make sure you don't hold down on it hard it just makes it worse) Is the remote the orginal ? I remember mine was so old that you couldnt see the symbols on it haha..

Make sure you do it more then six times under the 10 sec i guess intill you see the flashes..
