do i just plug these puppies in? or do i need to do something else?

actually in that post i asked about nokyas, not mtecs. so like i asked before. anyone here use mtecs?

9007 bulbs are 9007 bulbs are 9007 bulbs. They use the same base to fit into 9007 housings. The above link will apply to your application if you plan on installing the mtec 9007 bulbs or any 9007 bulbs into 9004 housings which is what you asking in your first post no?

I had mtec 9004's before. Gave of nice bright white light but crappy at night, especially when it rained. I did the 9004 to 9007 conversion and that was worth it.

Edit Note: BTW The mtec's did not last very long. Only about a month.

after the conversion do i need anytype of adapter because of the different watts?

i currently use the 9004 mtecs. they look nice but not much visiblitiy. also, no you don't need an adapter but you should upgrade your harness when you're gonna do the 9007 conversion.
