I had my stock struts replaced about 20,000 ago with new factory struts would it be ok to run H&Rs or Eibach with my factory struts ive heard people have had them on there cars with no problems....I am new to suspension...

It'll just kill them quicker. You can buy new aftermarket struts and get them installed the same time as the springs OR you can get the H&R's installed on stock struts and wait for them to blow and have to pay for installation twice.

i was thikning i could save up the money for the struts and my friend can put them in....people have said they have over 20,000 miles with stock struts and lowering springs (eibach and H&R)...so im jsut getting peoples opionions and H&Rs are the closest to stock spring feeling i have read so i would imgaine they would not be as harsh as say sprint...?

It depends on the roads, climate, climate changes, driving styles, and weight. You really can't go by what other people say.

Hey guys, would someone tell me where I could purchase H&R springs? And how much they are. Anyone know where the best price is on Illuminas is?
Thanks
Jeff

Ebay or most maxima stores. Illuminas, I think you could get those from CM.

Your ride looks sweet!!!! Love it man! Anyway, cm has the Illuminas but everyone says they are too expensive there. Could you give me a link or two to a place where they have the H&R springs? I've been looking around and haven't seen H&Rs anywhere, I must not be looking in the right places....

There's a seller on eBay who sells the Illumina kits with or without tokico springs. Cheaper than CM, and probably cheaper than any other maxima store.

A quote from Oblongshapes:

"When I first Lowered my car, I thought, They all lie IM NOT GOING TO BLOW MY STRUTS, they are in perfect condition.... 4 days later, my car felt like a boat rocking on the San Fran Bay. Then, I said, well ill just ride like this it cant be that bad, and yea...... you get used to it. But then i finally bought KYBS, and wanted to shoot myself for being an idiot for a month and not buying struts. I could actually drive my car and take bends at 65 miles an hour. Theres no point on getting performance springs, if you dont get the performance shocks. You would be BETTER off leaving them stock if you dont get struts. Just get shocks, good ones too KYB, or Illumina's... dont be cheap. Eventually you will get them, so you might as well get them now and start enjoying your car sooner"

Go to GD for the illuminas. $408 shipped.

Not a GD anymore. Just check out maxmods, I put the instructions there. If you want them with tokico springs then ebay is the best way to go though.
