Coolant leaking from near oil pan

I just replaced my radiator a few days ago, and today I saw a puddle of antifreeze under my car and it was dripping from somewhere near the oil pan gasket, not near the radiator what could be the problem??

I had the same problem. It turned out I had to change the water pump. this was about a month ago and no leaks so far.

also check your hoses, clamps and drain plug on the radiator

Is there any stopleak or temporary sealant I can get to temporarily stop or decrease the amount of the leak??? because everytime I drive my car and park it the puddle is pretty big when I come back to my car

yea I had the same problem, I would just keep on adding coolant to the radiator, but I changed the water pump today, i bought it for 43 bucks. but le t me tell you its alot of work. remove motor mount, was easy, but getting that tensioner without letting the spring pop out, and putting it back in, it was fun. Started at 9:30 finished at 5.

The seals on the water pump are shot and the coolant is exiting out the weep hole. Get a new water pump and install it.

Don't use that stop leak sh!t. It will work for temporarily. But when you fix the leak you won't be able to clean it all out and your cooling system will be ineffecient.

there are like 2 brands of radiator stop leak that all mechanics recommend...I can't remember their names, but I used one that a 30 yr. Z mechanic had used and had never had a problem...what it does is swell cork seals I believe (has camphor in it I think)....it's not that BB like stuff that just clogs everything it contacts with...

I think Bar's makes it...can't remember...apparently that one and another one professional shops use and never have any problems...since I put it in never leaked a drop since! be sure to completely flush your coolant before putting that stuff in though..!
