KYB's matched up with Tein-S techs?

anyone got this combo set up? i just sold my old rims from my accord and have $500 to spend so I wanna get the KYB's and the Tein-S techs. What are your feelings on this set up if you got them. How will these match up with 19" wheels which will be commin once my old accord is sold in the near future. I had the illuminas on my accord and they rode pretty nice but I wanted to maybe try out the KYB's seeing that they are adjustable and a hundred dollars cheaper. any input is appreciated.

thanks guys
alex

GR-2 and S-techs will blow your struts after a while (so I've heard).

if your going with S-tech ajustable struts are best.

I've heard the AGXs and S-tech have good life, dont know about quality but should be alright with the proper settings.

thanks for the input man, anyone else got anything?

i got them. i got the kyb agxs and the s-tech springs. they have a goodquality ride depending on the driver. its also up to you on the setting you want it. if you want handling instead of comfort go all out 4-8. if you want comfort; 2-6 or 2-5. my set up is 3-7 right now and i'm lovin it. don't get the GR-2's you'll waste money.

oh all you GR-2 haters.....i've been on S-tech's and GR-2s for about a year now and i haven't blown anything and the ride is actually pretty good

don't bash it unless you've tried it, or riden in it

:werd:

I had GR-2s with my H&Rs for about a year. They worked just fine. I only switched to AGXs because I wanted the adjustability.

can I get a ride? :gapteeth: I want to get some GR-2 but get a little worried when people keep bashing it plus saying they will blow (just with S-techs)

but if they've been riding good for a year then hmmmm 2" lower, smooth ride.

How's the pot holes and bumpes? Atlanta has a lot

thanks guys, prob gonna go with the agx's and s-techs.

i had no idea you were around my parts.....you can definitely get a ride, shoot you can drive the beast

the GR-2 do fine downtown, i go down there tues/thurs for school....the only thing you have to watch out for are the spots where the pavement is chewed up leaving a jagged hole, but i ride in my friends grand cherokee and his feels just the same when he hits that stuff

the S-tech seems to be a semi-soft spring which gets rid of a lot of harshness, the think the S-tech's feel better on my 18" then they do when i go back to the stock 5 spokes

:gapteeth: yea I live up there but am down here for school, I usually drive back up every couple of week to see the GF (in Alphy) glad you said that, I might have to couple some GR-2 and S-Tech, its not too stiff? or you like stiff rides? (my friend in his TT-Z does)

i'm in marietta, just around barrett pkwy......no i don't like the stiff ride too much....a friend has ground control "coilovers" on a 2002 accord and i think his is unbearable
